Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related clinical experience or completion of a medical assisting program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse team and maintain patient relationships.
• Strong organization and detail orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an electronic health record system.
• Current Basic Life Support and required state certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Patient Care Team to deliver healthcare in clinic settings.
• Prepare for exams/procedures and assist the provider as requested.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Perform point-of-care testing and administer medications per orders.
• Provide age-appropriate patient education.
• Monitor supplies, restock, and maintain infection control practices.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
