Job summary

Texas Orthopedics in Tyler, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will schedule appointments, greet patients, obtain histories and vitals, and assist during exams, with injections prepared and recorded in the medical record.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will help maintain clean treatment rooms, perform basic lab procedures and phlebotomy as needed, and support workflows to meet quality standards and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical environment, including scheduling.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, tests, and surgeries.
• Greet patients and obtain medical history and vitals.
• Assist during physical exams and prepare injections.
• Enter patient information into the medical record and maintain treatment rooms.
