Job summary

Skin & Aesthetic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures across Evergreen Park and Orland Park locations. The role blends clinical assistance with patient-facing service in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

The ideal candidate will perform phlebotomy, vital signs, and specimen collection, while assisting providers and maintaining a clean, organized environment. EHR experience and a passion for skin health are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures.
• Take vital signs, review medical histories, and update patient charts in the EHR system.
• Assist providers with dermatology procedures such as skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, suture removal, and aesthetic services (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments, injectables).
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following sterilization and safety protocols.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care.
• Support front desk operations as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Travel between assigned practice locations to provide coverage.
• Deliver a concierge-level patient experience from start to finish.
