Qualified candidates have 1–3 years MA experience, CMA/RMA certification, CPR, and proficiency with Outlook in a high-volume healthcare environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a back-office/direct patient care setting.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA/RMA).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Less than 2 years of professional leadership experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for appointments
• Obtain and record vital signs
• Discuss symptoms and gather patient information
• Enter information into EMR
• Administer injections as permitted by certification
• Perform diagnostic testing
• Collect specimens and laboratory samples
• Perform blood draws and phlebotomy procedures
• Sterilize and clean medical equipment
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff
