Job summary

Cullman Regional Neurology Clinic in Cullman, AL is seeking a Full-Time team member to provide compassionate patient care and support the provider during exams.

You will collect medical history and vital signs, document medications and allergies, assist with testing and procedures, and help stock exam rooms.

This role also handles administrative duties such as answering calls and verifying reports, requiring strong communication and teamwork in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-year previous experience in a clinical or hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare patient for exam by collecting medical history, vital signs and required clinical information.
• Document current medications and all allergies for each patient.
• Assist provider during testing, examinations and procedure(s) when needed.
• Follow provider's instructions to complete patient treatment.
• Provide and record all medications and immunizations ordered by provider and given to the patient.
• Take patient specimen and conduct laboratory test(s) ordered by the provider.
• Stock rooms.
• Keep supplies ready by taking inventory of stock; communicate to the manager when an order needs to be placed.
• Perform administrative duties such as answering incoming calls, returning calls, verifying lab and x-ray reports are received.
