Job summary

Bethany Medical is seeking a CMA/RMA to join our team at our North Carolina locations. The role involves patient interviews, vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and accurate charting. The Medical Assistant will prepare exam rooms and collaborate with providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

This is a full-time in-person position at our High Point location. Ideal candidates have CMA or RMA certifications and 1+ years in family practice, neurology, pain management, or internal

Qualifications

• CMA and/or CMA-related certifications required or preferred.
• RMA and/or NCMA certifications preferred.
• ABR-OE (Order Entry) certification is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient interviews and measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Record information in patients' charts.
• Work with providers and staff to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction.
• Maintain ongoing competencies and skills.

The Medical Assistant prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The Medical Assistant also will work closely with our Providers and fellow staff members to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction. This position will be in our High Point, NC location and is available Full-Time.

Required Licenses/Certifications For Medical Assistant

• NCMA- National Certified Medical Association (verified through NCCT, National Center for Competency Testing)
• ABR-OE- Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistants)
• 1 + years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, and Internal Medicine is preferred.
• Multi-lingual is a Plus!
