Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant for an on-site outpatient clinic at West Augusta. You will report to the Center Administrator and perform clinical duties including taking symptoms, vitals, administering meds and vaccines, phlebotomy, and documentation in the EMR.

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates who pass a proficiency exam are preferred. Requirements include completion of an MA program and certification, a high school diploma, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• MA school/training completion required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years experience.
• CPR certification required.

Required

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Preferences and Additional Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience 1+ years of MA experience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication #LI-RA1

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 - $56,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
