Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient vascular and vein clinic. You will room patients, obtain vitals, assist with procedures, document in the EMR, and help ensure an excellent patient experience throughout each visit.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage ($20–$25) based on experience, with quarterly bonuses up to $1,500 per quarter and potential for growth within the organization.

Location(s): Stamford (Tuesdays) and Waterbury (Wednesday - Friday) + Avon OR Fairfield (Mondays)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience + quarterly Bonuses up to $1,500 per quarter

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast‑paced outpatient vascular and vein clinic environment.

In this role, you’ll work closely with providers and clinical teams to room patients, obtain vitals, assist with procedures, document within the EMR, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience throughout each visit.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
• Supporting physicians during in‑office procedures and treatments
• Preparing exam and procedure rooms for daily clinic flow
• Assisting with patient intake, triage, and EMR documentation
• Educating patients before and after procedures
• Collaborating with front desk and clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Maintaining clinic organization, cleanliness, and inventory throughout the day

What You’ll Do

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Assist providers during in‑office procedures and treatments

• Review daily schedules and patient charts prior to appointments
• Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑procedure instructions
• Maintain clinical inventory and stocked exam rooms
• Support clinic flow and operational efficiency throughout the day
