Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking licensed Medical Assistants to provide health readiness services to military service members in the District of Columbia. This role primarily runs on weekends with occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, immunizations, EKG, and manual vitals and vision. Requirements: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training, CPR/BLS, 1+ year experience preferred, and weekend availability; experience with military or mobile

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with military settings or mobile medical services is a plus.
• Weekend availability is required.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of DC on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
