Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide services primarily on weekends and occasionally on weekdays in Washington, DC. You will assist military service members by performing essential medical tasks including phlebotomy, immunizations, and EKGs.

The ideal candidate will be certified as a medical assistant and possess CPR/BLS certification. Experience in a fast-paced environment and familiarity with mobile medical services are preferred. A friendly, caring attitude and weekend availability are essential.

Attention all Medical Assistants: we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with occasional weekdays in the State of DC on an "as needed" basis.

We provide Health Readiness Services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from accredited medical assisting training.
• Phlebotomy certification - preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience - preferred.
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual.
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care.
• Experience working with military - preferred.
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs.
• Must have weekend availability.

Salary: $20.00/Hour
