Heart And Vascular Associates LLC in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and patients in a fast-paced cardiovascular clinic. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and comfortable handling administrative and clinical tasks such as taking histories, scheduling, and performing EKGs.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow, updating records, maintaining confidentiality, stocking rooms, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience with Vital signs (Required)
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• BLS or CMA credentials preferred

Responsibilities

• Recording and updating patient medical history, including medication list.
• Performing EKGs and measuring and recording vital signs.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety at all times.
• Help implement the practice's quality assurance and control program ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

• Cleaning of exam rooms; stocking exam rooms with supplies; preparing exam rooms for providers.
• Maintain patient records at the time of exam.
• Scheduling appointments; answering phones; faxing; copying; ordering office supplies; maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
• Help implement the practice's quality assurance and control program ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 40 per week.
