Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company, is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant. Hours are 8AM - 5:00PM Monday-Friday. This position is primarily located at our Alvernon site, with occasional travel to our La Cholla site.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

• Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
• Monitor patients post procedure including vitals
• Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
• Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
• Monitors supplies
• Maintains patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
• Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
• Responsible, reliable and empathetic
• Proficient in Windows based PC applications
• Prior medical office experience helpful
• Active CPR certification
• Certificate of completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 or more years serving as a Medical Assistant (eligible for certification)
