Job summary

PACE North in Traverse City, MI seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide administrative and patient care support in a daytime schedule. You will document patient information in EMR, handle phones and appointments, assist with exams and treatments under RN supervision, and help keep exam rooms clean.

PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a unique program that helps individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility-level care remain in their homes. We provide care at our state-of-the-art center and in participants’ homes. Serving the community since 2019, PACE North is expanding rapidly!

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in providing both administrative and patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Documenting patient information in our electronic medical records system.
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Administering medications and treatments under RN supervision.
• Transporting patients to and from appointments.
Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.
• Providing excellent service to our participants.

What We’re Looking For
