Job summary

Pacenorth, located in Traverse City, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a caring team. In this role, you will document patient information, assist with administering treatments, and provide excellent service to participants, all within a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications include an active Medical Assistant certification and at least 6 months of clinical experience. PACE North offers competitive pay, health insurance coverage, and a daytime schedule with paid time off.

What is PACE North?

PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a unique program that helps individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility-level care remain in their homes. We provide care at our state-of-the-art center and in participants' homes. Serving the community since 2019, PACE North is expanding rapidly!

What You’ll Do

• Documenting patient information in our electronic medical records system.
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Administering medications and treatments under RN supervision.
• Transporting patients to and from appointments.
• Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.
• Providing excellent service to our participants.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Active Medical Assistant certification is preferred, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 6 months of clinical experience, preferably with elderly or frail populations.
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.
