Job summary

Cornerstone Treatment Facilities is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant to support patients in a treatment setting. The role requires reading medical terminology, CPR certification, and completion of a CNA/MA training program where possible.

Computer literacy and EMR familiarity are essential for daily documentation and patient care. Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse facilities is preferred, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-site work in Rhinebeck, NY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be computer literate and able to read/write medical terminology in English.
• Completion of a nursing assistant/medical assistant training program preferred.
• Experience in mental health or substance abuse facilities is a plus.

Job description

Schedule: Monday through Friday 12:00am - 8:30am.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent including the ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology in English.
• CPR certificate

Experience:

• Previous experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant preferred.
• Satisfactorily completed a nursing assistant/medical assistant training program.
• Mental Health or Substance Abuse Facility experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
