Horizons OBGYN & Aesthetics is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to work on-site in Winter Garden, FL. The role supports providers by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, documenting histories, and assisting with obstetric, gynecologic, and aesthetic procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in managing Medical Records, including electronic records, documentation, and confidentiality.
• Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting; MA certification or registration preferred.
• Knowledge of OB/GYN procedures and women's health; willingness to learn aesthetics.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.

Role Description

The Medical Assistant role at Horizons OBGYN & Aesthetics is a full-time, on-site position located in Winter Garden, FL. In this role, the Medical Assistant supports providers by preparing exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, documenting patient histories, and assisting with obstetric, gynecologic, and aesthetic procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing patient flow, updating medical records in the practice’s systems, coordinating lab work, and handling basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection. The Medical Assistant also communicates with patients regarding instructions, follow-up appointments, and practice policies, while helping with front-office duties such as scheduling and check-in when needed. This position requires consistent adherence to clinical protocols, privacy regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Understand and speak English, Spanish, Portuguese


• Strong foundation in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology to support providers and accurately document clinical information.


• Experience working in a Medical Office setting, including familiarity with scheduling, check-in/check-out, and insurance basics.
