Job summary

Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for the Torrington Care Center. You will room patients, record vitals, and document in Epic EMR to ensure accurate patient care.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong communication skills. A supportive team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• EMR experience; Epic experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs and document in Epic EMR.
• Update patient's medical history including medications.
• Document patient phone calls and, under provider guidance, relay test results.
• Assist with prior authorization and triage questions.
