Pacific Medical Centers (PacMed) is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work under a licensed practitioner, performing duties and providing patient care as directed. The role requires WA MA certification on hire, BLS within 30 days, and 6+ months healthcare/MA experience.

Base pay is posted as $23.79–$37.03 per hour, with potential/on-call incentives. The MA II will be fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned clinic/location, following established policies and procedures while

• Two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces or at least one year MA experience with vitals, injections, and meds.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.

• At least 6 months healthcare experience.
• At least 6 months medical assistant experience.

Description

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or
• Coursework/Training Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or
• Coursework/Training Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
