Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• CPR certification required, or willingness to attain upon hire.
• Prior cardiology or specialty practice experience is a plus.
• Strong computer/EMR proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication lists.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and electronic medical records AMR.
• Support scheduling, prior authorizations, and medication refills as needed.

The medical assistant will support our cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff by performing patient care tasks, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication lists.


• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
