Job summary

MedCura Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant in Georgia to support clinicians and provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will prepare exam rooms, record vitals and histories, assist with procedures, and help with basic lab tasks.

Travel between multiple clinic locations is expected to support patient care and operations. A CMA certification or completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA or equivalent is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• - Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready
• - Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information
• - Administer injections, perform basic laboratory tests, and assist with diagnostic procedures as directed
• - Provide excellent patient communication, answering questions and offering support
• - Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• - Travel between multiple clinic locations as required to support patient care and clinic operations

Skills and Qualifications:

• - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
• - Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• - Ability to travel between clinic locations reliably
• - Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations
