Job Details
  • Job Name: Medical Assistant
  • Location: Seattle, WA 98104
  • Duration: 3+ months Contract (possibilities of extension)
  • Payrate: $25‑29/hr on W2; rate is based on experience
  • Schedule: Open to part‑time or full‑time candidates
    • 0.6 FTE: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 0.8 FTE: Wednesday off, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 1.0 FTE:
      • 4/10 schedule: Wednesday off, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
      • 5/8 schedule: Standard 8‑hour shifts (schedule available)
Job Responsibilities
  • Room pediatric patients, obtain and document vital signs, and prepare patients and exam rooms for provider visits
  • Manage EHR in‑basket activities, including patient messages, test results, and task routing per clinical protocols
  • Administer pediatric immunizations according to provider orders, safety standards, and vaccine schedules
  • Perform CLIA‑waived testing (e.g., rapid strep, flu, urinalysis) and accurately document results
  • Complete and manage clinical paperwork, including school forms, physicals, referrals, and medical records requests
  • Perform basic instrument processing, including cleaning, disinfection, and setup per infection control guidelines
Qualifications
  • High school / GED or equivalent
  • Current, Washington State Medical Assistant Certification
  • Pediatrics or Family Medicine is ideal
