Job summary

Raleigh Medical Group PA in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Family Dermatology team. No prior MA experience is required; you will support providers during dermatology visits, procedures, and in-office treatments.

You will help with patient prep, vital signs, wound care, specimen handling, and EMR documentation while learning dermatology workflows in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to learn dermatology procedures and medical office workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for examinations and dermatology visits.
• Obtain and document patient histories, medications, allergies, and vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office dermatology procedures.
• Prepare specimens and assist with lab coordination.
• Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Document care and instructions in the EMR and assist with refills and scheduling.

No previous Medical Assistant experience is required.
