Job summary

Fountain Life in Orlando is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, document patient information, and assist in care delivery across both in-person and virtual channels.

You will manage lab processes, handle prescription requests under supervision, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering world-class hospitality to members.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree, and must be certified or registered medical assistant.
  • 2 years clinical experience in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting as alternative to degree.
  • CCMA or RMA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Document and file clinical records in the EHR.
  • Support physician in capturing and implementing medical plans.
  • Create supplement orders via online dispensary.
  • Manage prescription requests under physician supervision.
  • Collect results from diagnostic lab portals.

Job description

The Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and personalized care experience. Working directly under the supervision of a physician, you will be responsible for collecting, documenting, and communicating accurate patient information, assisting in care delivery, supporting diagnostics, and ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance. You will also coordinate patient requests, manage lab processes, and help ensure that every interaction reflects the highest standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation and filing of clinical records in the electronic health record.
  • Assisting physician to capture and implement medical plans for members.
  • Creating supplement orders through online dispensary.
  • Management of prescription requests under the supervision of a physician and medication reconciliation.
  • Collection of results from diagnostic laboratory portals.
In Center Skills:
  • Lab draws
  • Conducting Skin IO testing
  • Performing EKGs
  • Obtaining vital signs to include height and weight
  • PNOE
Functional Expertise:
  • Proficient in medical terminology.
  • HIPAA compliance certification.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills. Attention to details even under pressure.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Documentation management and ability to use electronic health records.
  • Provide seamless support to members across all virtual communication channels (Zoom, email, text, WhatsApp, phone) with a strong emphasis on being highly accessible and responsive.
  • Ability to work with strict confidentiality requirements, as well as utilize good judgment in the preparation and distribution of confidential information.

Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree, and must be a certified or registeredmedicalassistance
  • 2 years clinical experience in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting in lieu of degree/diploma
  • CCMA or RMA preferred.
