Shore Gastroenterology in Oakhurst, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks. You will take vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, assist during procedures, perform phlebotomy, and help with specimen processing while maintaining a sterile environment.

Qualifications

The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment by properly sterilizing medical instruments and managing specimen processing. Additionally, this role requires effective communication skills to answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare staff. Ultimately, the Medical Assistant contributes to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.
