Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform duties under physician direction to assist in examinations and treatments. This is a travel position based in Newport, Oregon, with 40 hours per week and a weekly pay of $1,530.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred), strong medical terminology knowledge, and solid clerical skills. Benefits are included with employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Good telephone communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of medical procedures.
• Knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR card (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Relevant certification/license if applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
