FASCO (Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio) in Newark, Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and the health care team by gathering patient history and vital information into our EMR system.

Qualifications

• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge and compliance preferred (will train if not knowledgeable)
• Medical office experience preferred but not required (on-site training available)
• Must be professional and courteous
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work with a team or independently
• Must be knowledgeable with computers
• Must be willing to get your GXMO license to take X-rays (we will help you to obtain license)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and courteously

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant will support physicians and other members of the health care team by gathering patient medical history and other vital medical information into our EMR system. They will make sure to use customer service skills and display professionalism to treat our patients with the utmost quality of care.

Schedule and Related Information
