Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Longmont, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant for our outpatient clinics. This onsite, full-time role supports primary and specialty care teams, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Urology, and Neurology.

You will perform direct patient care, collect vital signs, assist with procedures, and handle clerical duties. A High School diploma and BLS/CPR are required, along with 3 years MA experience or MA program graduation; CMA/RMA certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • BLS/CPR certification required and valid through start date.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
  • Assist with patient care activities and maintain care area stocking, cleaning and orderliness.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies.
  • Perform administrative duties including scheduling, data entry and patient registration.

Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Medical Assistant Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) throughthe American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
Medical Assistant -

$20.26 - $26.34/ hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Medical Assistant I Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.

MA
  • Direct care includes, but is not limited to gathering vital signs, specimen collection, communicating changes in patient condition and general patient care.
