Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support military service members in Maine on weekends with some occasional weekdays. You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vitals, while maintaining patient care in a fast-paced mobile/clinic setting.

Ideal candidates are certified medical assistants with CPR/BLS, phlebotomy experience, and comfort working with military and mobile medical services. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws.
• Administer immunizations.
• Obtain and record EKG results.
• Take manual vitals and vision measurements.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of ME on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.

• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
