Job summary

CRH Healthcare's Peachtree Immediate Care in Kingsland, GA is hiring a Medical Assistant (CMA/LPN/EMT) for a 3x12 full-time schedule. You’ll support patients and providers, manage intake, and perform a range of clinical tasks in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You’ll work closely with clinicians to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and quality care, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience across urgent care needs and participate in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited professional clinical program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Current applicable license required for LPN, EMT, or Radiologic Technologist candidates.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work weekday and/or weekend shifts based on clinic needs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Strong patient service and problem-solving skills.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Occupational Health, X-Ray, and/or IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and help maintain an efficient patient flow.
• Complete clinical intake, including medical history, medications, chief complaint, and vital signs.
• Document patient information accurately within the EMR.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Administer medications as permitted by certification or licensure.
• Dress and bandage wounds and assist with basic wound care.
• Perform blood draws and process laboratory specimens.
• Perform CLIA-waived laboratory testing.
• Conduct diagnostic testing such as EKGs, vision testing, audiograms, and peak-flow testing.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens following required chain-of-custody procedures after training.
• Assist with X-ray preparation and set-up where applicable.
• Clean and maintain clinical instruments and equipment.
• Complete accurate medical charting and documentation.
• Conduct patient callbacks and assist with referrals, testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor medical supplies, medications, and disposable inventory.
• Complete routine quality checks of medical equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members when needed.
• Support patient registration and front-desk functions as needed.

3x12 Schedule | Full-Time | Urgent Care

Our Medical Assistants are an important part of the patient experience. You’ll work alongside providers and teammates to deliver efficient, compassionate care while gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of urgent care needs.

Schedule

• 3, 12-hour shifts per week
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekday and weekend availability may be required based on clinic needs

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT, you’ll support both our patients and medical providers throughout the visit.
