Matthew 25 AIDS Services in Kentucky seeks a Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant to join a mission-driven health team. The role focuses on vaccine administration, accurate EHR documentation, and delivering patient-centered care built on DEI values.

Requirements include a CAAHEP-accredited AAS in Medical Assisting, CMA/RMA certification, and a commitment to serving the community. Travel within Kentucky may be required; drug screen and background check are required.

Formación

• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification required.
• AAS in Medical Assisting from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Experience in nonprofit or service-oriented environment preferred.
• 100% commitment to Matthew 25's mission, vision and values.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience and clean record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Travel within Kentucky may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tasks/skills with proficiency and accuracy ie: vaccine administration
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in documenting in EHR
• Contribute to a positive health care experience for patients utilizing the framework of DEI

Use a collaborative approach with providers and other care team members to provide patient centered care, and ensure patient safety and well-being

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Medical Assistant/ Registered Medical Assistant
• Associate of Applied Science Degree obtained through a CAAHEP-accredited college program.
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or a strong desire to work in a service-driven environment.

• Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three (3) years of driving experience and fewer than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test.
