Job summary

DOCS Health in Hawaii is seeking Medical Assistants to partner with us in providing health readiness services to military service members. The role primarily covers weekends with some occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis, serving US Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR sites.

You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and manual vitals/vision checks in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with accredited training.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
