Job summary

Jobot is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant for an Oncology Clinic in Southern California. The role supports providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The bilingual (Korean/English) candidate will greet patients, document vitals, assist during examinations, and coordinate referrals while ensuring quality patient care and compliance with HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or outpatient setting.
• Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written) is required.
• Certification preferred or required based on state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Experience administering injections, patient intake, and clinical procedures.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients with exceptional service and compassionate care.
• Obtain and document vital signs, histories, medications, and chief complaints.
• Prepare exam rooms and patient for physician examinations.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments per provider.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs and related duties.
• Document patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, follow-up, and instructions.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescriptions, and testing.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms following OSHA and infection control standards.
• Communicate in Korean and English to assist patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver outstanding care.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Bilingual Medical Assistant (Korean/English) to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will support providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities while serving as a valuable resource for our Korean-speaking patient population.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients while providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints.
• Prepare exam rooms and patients for physician examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed by the provider while following all clinical safety protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical duties as needed.
• Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, follow-up appointments, and provider instructions.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescription refill requests, and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while ensuring compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.
• Communicate fluently in both Korean and English to assist patients and families throughout their visit, helping ensure clear understanding of medical instructions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications
