Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a professional Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic network. You will support physicians, manage patient intake, document histories, and assist with biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of medical office experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and relevant Medical Assistant training; a CMA credential is preferred but not required. We offer competitive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant training is required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examination.
  • Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
  • Assist physician/provider by scribing in the patient’s medical record.
  • Assist with biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.
  • Prepare and collect path/lab specimens and notify patients of results; schedule follow-ups.
