WakeMed Fuquay-Varina Medical Park is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and the healthcare team in a fast-paced outpatient setting, enhancing patient experiences and care quality. • Medical Assistant training, certification, or relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 1 year clinical experience or completion of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Ambulatory outpatient setting experience is a plus.

In this role, you’ll work closely with providers and other healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their ambulatory care experience. You’ll play an important part in creating a positive patient experience while helping deliver high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

What you’ll do

• Support providers by assisting with patient care, assessments, procedures, and clinical documentation.
• Prepare patients for appointments, collect vital signs, and help ensure a smooth visit from check‑in to check‑out.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient education while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Help keep exam rooms, supplies, and clinical workflows organized and running efficiently.
