Job summary

Broward Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist physicians and health care professionals with patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and improve quality of patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O.).

Responsibilities include supporting clinical workflows, credentialing, and ensuring compliance with BLS and AHCA Level II requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• AHCA Level II certification required.
• Two years of on-the-job validated training or equivalent experience.
• Emergency Medical Technician or Medical Assistant credentials preferred.
