Job summary

DOCS Health seeks a Medical Assistant to support military service members in Nevada. The role emphasizes phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs, with weekend availability and a focus on patient care. Prior military/mobile clinic exposure is a plus, and strong computer skills are required.

The ideal candidate will have MA certification, phlebotomy and CPR/BLS credentials, and at least one year of related experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from accredited program.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.

• Experience with military or mobile medical services preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs; weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy/blood draws.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Nevada on an \"as needed basis\".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification

• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
