Job summary

Trusted Medical, PLLC in Destin, FL is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support our team serving Veterans and patients. You will greet Veterans, record vital signs, document in the EHR, and assist with scheduling and lab processing in a busy, patient-centered clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current/Active MA certification/diploma in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• A team player who can communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in the use of computers, along with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
• Compassionate, professional, professional with a strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Greet Veterans warmly and ensure smooth office flow.
• Measure and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate).
• Document Veteran information in the electronic health record(EHR).
• Inventory oversight: stock and organize all clinic equipment and supplies.
• Assist with all aspects of scheduling, check-in and check-out procedures for Veterans.
• Competently perform EKG, Pulmonary Function Tests, ABIs and collect/process lab specimens.
• Responsible for maintaining all aspects of a clean, organized clinic environment.
• Attend meetings, workshops, and trainings.
• Ensure exam rooms are appropriately stocked with necessary supplies and materials.

Trusted Medical, PLLC is the clinical care delivery affiliate of Edera. We specialize in serving Veterans by reducing wait times for disability screens and separation health assessments required by the Veterans Affairs (VA) to receive benefits. In addition to our core work with the VA, Trusted Medical holds multiple government contracts nationwide, allowing our providers to also participate in occupational health services for their applicants and employees. This includes pre-employment screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and other health assessments that support a wide range of government agencies.
