Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with EHR systems for patient management (E-ClinicalWorks, Tebra).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to perform intake procedures and document vital signs efficiently.
• Experience with medication administration and ICD coding.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual, proactive and self-motivated

Responsabilités

• Support various departments such as dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and geriatrics as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers.
• Assist in X-ray procedures and other diagnostic tests as required.

• Familiarity with EHR systems for effective patient management.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in relevant specialties are a plus (e.g., urgent care, dermatology).


• Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient service.


• Experience with medication administration and knowledge of vital sign assessment techniques.


• Previous exposure to various medical fields such as PICU, OR experience, medical-surgical units, or hospital medicine is preferred.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
