Job summary

Together Women’s Health, LLC is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for OBGYN Associates to join a growing medical team. The MA will obtain patient histories, prepare exam rooms, record vitals, assist with injections and phlebotomy, and support the physician during visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1+ year in a medical office is preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is required.
• Previous experience at an OBGYN office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health histories and enter into EMR.
• Prepare exam room for patient visits and maintain cleanliness.
• Take vitals and perform preliminary physical tests.
• Set up diagnostic/treatment equipment as needed.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy when required.
• Document patient records, test requests, medications and education accurately.
• May perform Scribe duties and assist the physician as directed.

Overview

OBGYN Associates, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-timeMedical Assistant (MA) to join their growing medical team. The Medical Assistant embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter into Electronic Medical Record
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visit to ensure cleanliness
• Perform any preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals
• Set up any additional diagnostic and/or treatment equipment
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Complete all documentation pertaining to patient's medical record, test requests, medications and patient education with accuracy and timeliness
• May perform Scribe duties
• Assist the physician as directed
• Must work well in a team environment

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (Preferred)
