Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is a rapidly expanding orthopedic practice, with clinics in Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Additionally, there is an ambulatory surgery center in Atlanta. The practice specializes in providing state-of-the-art, minimally invasive treatment of complex neck and spine problems, as well as sports related injuries and conditions. The Medical Assistant aids and assists the practitioner and medical staff in various patient care activities. This is a clinical position which also includes administrative duties. • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. • Escorting patients into exam rooms. • Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. Patient info • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. • Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians' instructions to patients. • Dispose of any waste materials in SHARPS container • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work • Inventory medical supplies or equipment. • Perform clerical work in medical settings.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Compensation:

$20/hr to $24/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
