Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• 0-1 years of related experience in patient care preferred or an associate's degree or higher in lieu of Medical Assistant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
• MA/CMA/EMT/CNA/LNA credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients; take and document vital signs and intake information.
• Support clinical procedures (EKGs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing).
• Maintain clean, stocked, and ready exam rooms.
• Document accurately in the EMR per clinical guidelines.
• Assist with scheduling, check-in, phone coverage, referrals and patient instructions as needed.

Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
