Baptist Health Medical Group in Jasper, AL is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in a fast-paced family practice setting.

Responsibilities include exam assistance, patient preparation, data collection, and coordinating tests, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality care. On-site position with a daytime schedule and competitive benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or 1+ year relevant experience.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Certification or registration from CCMA, CMA, or RMA within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers during exams and procedures.
• Prepare patients for visits and gather health data.
• Document treatments and patient education in our electronic medical system.
• Coordinate specialty testing and consultations.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls with professionalism and clinical judgment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and Orlando/Baptist Health standards.
