Job summary

Beverly Hills Cancer Center is hiring a Medical Assistant in Beverly Hills, CA. The role supports physicians, documents care in the EMR, and coordinates patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years clinical MA experience, strong computer skills, and familiarity with EMR; oncology or imaging experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

• Proficient computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Experience in an oncology and/or imaging/radiology setting helpful.

Medical Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Documents patient communication and clinical treatments accurately and appropriately within the EMR.
• Obtains vital signs, performs assessments and rooms patients.
• Performs or assist physician to perform exams, tests and procedures as ordered by the physician such as EKGs, and phlebotomy, including venipunctures and fingerstick.
• Prepares and administers oral and parenteral medications and immunizations as directed and supervised by the physician and/or RN.
• Receives, organizes, scans, faxes and encounters documents into EMR.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills for both inter and intra departments.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

EXPERIENCE

• One to two years of experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant.
