Job summary

Affiliated Dermatology in Anthem, AZ is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians, take patient histories, prepare exam rooms, and assist during examinations and procedures.

You will work 8-hour shifts, five days per week within a collaborative, patient-focused team. Graduation from an accredited MA program and strong attention to detail are required; the role includes administrative duties and adherence to established processes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Strong focus on producing repeatable outcomes within defined processes.
• Communicates in a factual, polite, and professional manner.
• Be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days per week; no time restrictions between 8a-5:30p.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain chief complaints and histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; suture removal and dressings.
• Complete laboratory paperwork and notify patients of results.
• Educate patients and schedule appointments; stock exam rooms.

It takes about six minutes to complete.The Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute, time assessment that assesses your natural learning style. (Some people learn methodically and go narrow and deep, others quickly and broadly, for example.)These assessments help us understand which of our roles would be best suited to a person’s natural strengths, and allows us to get to know them better.
