Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to support military service members with mobile and fixed-clinic services. Weekend work is common, with occasional weekdays in Pennsylvania on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include blood draws, immunizations, EKGs, and vital/vision checks in fast-paced environments. Certification as a Medical Assistant and CPR/BLS are required or preferred, with experience in mobile medical services advantageous.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Pennsylvania on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programsMust have weekend availability
