Job summary

U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

You will assist physicians during exams and procedures, prepare medications and injections, and help with wound care and specimen handling in a professional, patient-focused team. The role combines clinical duties with coordination of appointments and tests, under the supervision of a licensed provider.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical/clinical experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during exams and procedures, including sterile setup.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections per policy.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; handle specimen collection.
• Document care, medications, test results and procedures accurately.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing; maintain equipment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and CLIA-waived testing as trained.
