Job summary

Community Care Physicians in Albany, CA is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for the Family Practice Great Oaks office. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm with rotating Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm. You will document conversations, maintain patient flow, prepare patients, obtain specimens, and assist providers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus!
