Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You’ll work with a team of medical experts to move patients safely, maintain aircraft readiness, and ensure compliance with FAR and company procedures.

This role features a 7/7 schedule, a strong compensation package with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and retention bonuses, plus on-duty housing. The ideal candidate holds a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, the appropriate

Qualifications

• Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hour thresholds: 2,000 total; 1,500 helicopter; 1,000 helicopter PIC; 500 turbine hours.
• Night flying hours required (100 unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided).
• 230 lb weight limit with gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and maintain aircraft cleanliness per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Education

Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

Helicopter instrument rating

FAA Class II Medical Certificate

2,000 Total Flight Hours
