Job summary

Comforts of Home Senior Living in Hudson, WI is hiring a Medication Aide/Caregiver to join our compassionate team. This full-time PM shift (2:30p-10:30p) offers a competitive hourly pay range and paid training to help you grow while delivering high-quality resident care.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document services, and support residents, including those with dementia, in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, incontinence care, transfers, and medication administration.
• Communicate in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Support residents including those with dementia or related diagnoses.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.

• Assist residents with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance and medication administration.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
