You will research, analyze, and maintain policies under Florida Medicaid, coordinate with legislative and procurement teams, and support program planning and evaluation efforts to improve health care delivery.

The role requires ability to research complex statutes, prepare policy language, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• One year of experience developing health care related policies.
• One year of technical writing experience.
• One year of experience managing complex assignments.
• Preference will be given to applicants that have two years of professional experience in program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
• Preference will be given to applicants that have a bachelor's degree from a college or university.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop Florida Medicaid program policies and guidelines.
• Analyze health care/program related information to determine effects on the Medicaid program and budget.
• Prepare reports and assist in development of legislative budget requests and proposals.
• Provide training and technical assistance to ensure policy conformity and adherence to timelines.
